Payments are high,I had builders a few years ago putting roof on house and building two extra rooms, they totally destroyed my home ,hadn't a clue what they were doing put mysitting room roof in destroying everything in the room,I checked them out with Company House and it turned they were not builders at all but were registerd as joiners, then they went into liquidation and I had no come back on them, they had no insurance or anything.then in middle of it all my husband died and I was left with the house to try and put right, and couldnt get a building warrent for it because of their mistakes,so I remortgaged to get money to attempt to put house right, and had to replace every bit of furniture in sitting room, they worked on neighbour houses too and we are all the same and do not have building warrents,so I believe you can not sell your house without one.
