You will almost certainly need to put forward some kind of collateral as security against which a laon of this size is to be advanced. This si how typical mortgages are arrnaged - the laon secured against the value of our home which therofre becomes liable to repossessio nand sale if we fail to keep up the repayments. Business loans are no different - either secured against the buisness property, your own main residence or indeed secured against plant and machinery or other assets of your business - perhaps even stock.
It woud certainly be unusal to obtian a loan of this size without loan collateral. Eqaully a lender will rarley, if ever advance the full amount needed to purchase a capital item - as this would give them no security whatever aganst the inevitable deprecationin vlaue of any item if it had to be sold on, on the second hand market. A depsoit would most ceetainly be requird i nsuch cases.
One final point - the weaker and less marketable your loan collateral is (or the smaller your deposit) the higher will be the interest you have to pay on any loan as the risk that your lender may not recover the full value of that loan collateral will be!
