My House hold Income is 34000 annually, looking to buy a house 175000 and have 10000 for ready deposit. What options are available?
Your income may be just about enough for a mortgage of that size but to be honest I think you are going to struggle to find a lender who will offer anything like a reasonable rate with a deposit of that size. Speak to an independent broker or financial adviser to fully work out your options.
Not sure how much info you managed to gather during the past week considering the festive period and restricted opening hours.
However, further to the answer above, I am an independent mortgage broker and would like to say that there's hope.
I gather that you're not a UK citizen and would be classified as a first time buyer. If so, there are various options available to you. In fact, I did a mortgage for a couple in a very similar situation and they're moving in this month!
