I have a gross salary of C £31500. Also if I am paying spoucal maintenance will that be tax deductable?
married couples allowance is only paid (once you claim it) to couples where one spouse was born before 6/4/1935 so there are relatively few people still in receipt of it.
guessing that you are not over 75 and still working, you never had it to lose anyway.
Exactly as Darren reports it - very unlikely there is any married couples allowance to lose as this has not been in existence for many years now. Only those born before 6th April 1935 remain eligible.
