As part of my 2011 budget, I want to review my Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs) options.
the best cash isa will be the one that gives you the best access and rate. i personally wouldnt be looking at a fixed rate as i think they are priced too much in favour of the provider. many banks and building societies advertise their best isa rates for "new" money and not transfers of existing isas but the rates across the board tend to rise as we get nearer to march/april (the ISA season).
in terms of investment isa funds, that is a very broad question as the correct/right funds will be determined initially by assessing your attitude to risk and reward.
i would be very surprised if someone would simply give a list of funds to you without making that first assessment as it can be too easy to jump into last year's star fund only to see it become this year's dog fund.
you really ought to consider employing the services of a good IFA who will assess your risk profile and current/future needs and then build a portfolio to suit you. it will certainly be worth the money in the future especially if you conduct regular reviews in the future.
