Learn about County Court Administration Orders
A County Court Administration Order (CCAO) enables you to take control of your debt and puts a stop to harassing phone calls and letters.
What is a County Court Administration Order?
If you apply for, and receive, a County Court Administration Order (CCAO), the courts issue an official order to back your outstanding debt. In this plan you simply make a single payment each month and the court will pay each of your creditors.
While the order is active, creditors will not be able to take collection action against you. Phone calls, threatening letters, and other debt collection procedures will stop.
The courts take 10% of your payments to cover their administration costs.
