Credit Debt ReliefFind relief from your unsecured debt

If you are finding that your debts are becoming unmanageable, there are various forms of credit debt relief available to help you out of this difficult situation. You should always start by writing down all the companies that you owe money to, and working out which debts should be included in your credit debt relief solution. Prioritise the debts where payments are due immediately, and if there are a number of repayments due, you can further prioritise by working out which of these carry a higher interest rate. More info

Getting Credit Debt Delief

  • If you find it difficult keeping up with your repayments, keep a calendar or wall-planner specifically for bill payments.  This way you can set yourself a reminder several days before each payment is due.  Bear in mind that if you make your payments via online banking, you need to allow 3 ? 5 working days for the funds to reach the company.
  • If all your payments are due on different days of the month, speak to your creditors and ask whether you can change the billing date.  Making all of your payments as soon as you have been paid will ensure that you have enough money in the account, and you will also be able to budget for the rest of the month far more easily.
  • If you owe up to £10,000 and you are finding it difficult to manage a large number of monthly payments, you may wish to consider a credit debt relief loan.  Also known as a debt consolidation loan, this would enable you to pay off some or all of your existing creditors and pay back the money at a lower rate of interest.  This option should only be considered if the interest rate is likely to be significantly lower, and you are able to commit to the monthly repayments of the new loan.
