I am 62 my hubby is 64 can we get a remortgage until my hubby is 70.

Our existing mortgage is interest only and the term is up in 3 years, my lender will not extend this term until nearer the time, we both work but want to plan our future as selling is not the best option at this time

Hi. Yes you can certainly remortgage and extend the term. Some lenders will allow the term to go beyond 70. It all assumes you have sufficient income to support the mortgage. If not then a lifetime mortgage with repayments would be an option.

Drop me an email on paul.skinner@pks.org.uk or call me on 03332 407040.
