I am age 64 and my wife 65. With £25000 max deposit, what (if any) mortgage would be available to us over what max term?

Hi Charles. It merely depends on 4 things, your credit rating, your present and future income and the loan to value of the property. On the surface, the deposit seems fine and a mortgage should be relatively easy, as long as your present and future income can support the repayments. Termwise, most lenders will lend up to 75, with 3, which I am aware of stetching to beyond this. Give me a call, by all means, on 01778 440555 and we can have a free, no obligation chat and I'll be able to discuss this further | 08.09.11 @ 07:14
