There are a few start-ups trying to replicate Mint's success. Most notably, MoneyDashboard and LoveMoney offer a personal finance management (PFM) solution in the UK and MoBank offers a mobile banking solution.

I know Kublax was unsuccessful, so hopefully these other players have a solution and enough capital to make it work. | 11.19.10 @ 18:12

Yodlee, a US-based company, powers many of the solutions in the market. You can checkout Yodlee's site (www.yodlee.com) since they are announcing new partnerships all the time. | 11.19.10 @ 18:24

Mint.com and Yodlee have ended its relationship. Mint, which was acquired by Intuit, will be using Intuit's platform going forward.

Since January 2010, all new Mint users have been supported by Intuit. | 12.03.10 @ 14:41

Yodlee power both Lovemoney and Moneydashboard. Of the two Moneydashboard has a very strong board of directors, is the more open about how they operate, and looks the more 'corporate' of the two.

This is either a good or bad thing depending on your preferences, but I'd say they look the more solid of the two. They also appear to have a slightly more developed proposition - but only by a matter of weeks.

Of course a strong corporate culture also means that if it doesn't work they may be a lot more ruthless about pulling the plug - but that's where I'd go I think.
