My husband works with the D and pays towards a life policy or some kind of policy (CPAX Family). Can you tell me more about this?

PAX is a policy specifically designed for the risks attached to working in the Armed Forces and has many cover variations.

it can include (amongst other things)

•24/7 worldwide cover, on and off duty
•Includes war and terrorism injuries arising from active service or peacekeeping duties
•Includes injuries caused by nuclear, chemical, biological or radiological attack
•Includes sport, holiday, traffic accident and domestic injuries
•Cover can be taken out or changed at any time
•Premium payments by salary deduction
•Cover available under the Family plan, for your spouse or partner
•Children covered free under Family plan or individual Plan if you are a single parent
•No exclusion for death or injury contributed to by drink or drugs
Plus extra benefits of:
•Personal Liability Insurance included
•Legal Protection and Medical Second Opinion included (for members of HM Forces only)
•Optional Life Insurance available at additional cost (including specified Critical Illness cover)
