Lloyds TSB is one of the largest and most respected financial institutions in the UK. The Lloyds Bank was established in 1765 in Birmingham at Taylors & Lloyds. In 1995 the bank merged with Trustee Savings Bank (TSB), and the current name reflects this change. They offer secured and unsecured personal loans. For unsecured personal loans you may borrow between £1,000 and £25,000 over any amount of time from 12 months to seven years.
Secured loans provide more flexibility, and you may borrow more than £25,000 for any period up to 20 years in duration. The rate of your loan will depend on several different factors including your credit history, previous account history and other key details. You must be a resident of the UK, and you must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a secured loan.
If you decide to repay your loan early, Lloyds TSB will charge you an administration fee of 58 days' interest (maximum of £250 calculated on a daily basis on the outstanding balance of the loan).
Lloyds TSB also offers mortgages. They are partnered with the mortgage specialists Cheltenham & Gloucester to provide you with buy to let mortgages, first time mortgages, remortgages, and many other mortgage products.
