Will PMI cover homeopathic treatment?
With the first round of NHS budget cuts looking, homeopathic and complimentary therapies will most likely be cut. This will leave these patients with private medical insurance as an option for coverage. Unfortunately, when I investigated PMI last year, not all providers offered this type of coverage. At that time, BUPA, PPP, and Primecare did not offer cover for homeopathy. I would contact the various providers and ask them homeopathy is covered before starting a policy. | 11.11.10 @ 15:58
May I suggest you look to the Cash Plan market whereby Homeopathy is generally within he standard therapy cover. If you can get the scheme paid for by a company pre existing medical questions maybe covered. 100% rebate up to set limits. www.westfieldhealth.com (Corporate plans start from £1 per person, per week) | 11.16.10 @ 13:48
